ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Libertine Belles are a femme-fatale jazz trio based in Portland Oregon, who are fresh on the scene and ready to lure you in! Tunes include old-timey swing music, originals, and unexpected twists on newer favorites. Their specialty is tight vocal harmonies and slammin' uke (Dee Settlemier of the hot-jazz band the Midnight Serenaders), trashcan bass (Emily Hetrick of the Ukeladies PDX), and washboard stylings (Teresa Boyd of Saloon Ensemble and Ukeladies PDX)....along with killer-diller horn accompaniment by Jason Wells (Trashcan Joe, Saloon Ensemble). With saucy originals, rare and raunchy tunes, and sweet standards, there is always something for everyone!
