ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album was inspired by the heritage of the granddaughter of the Director of the London Lucumi Choir. It includes Lullabies from West Africa, the Caribbean the Middle East, and Europe Sung in many dialects and languages. it also reflects the backgrounds of some of the Choir members. Many members gave their voices to sing songs sung to them by their mothers, others sung their family favourites. The decision was to record the lullabies using acoustic instruments. The Voice, Guitar, the Drum and the Piano. It is a gentle CD meant to lull your baby to sleep but also for anyone to relax to! All lullabies were sung and played with a lot of love.
