Album Notes
In 2011, Terry Eagan of Patio Records presented one of many fabulous Healing Garden Benefit Concerts, this one at the St. Jacob’s Country Playhouse in East Waterloo, Ontario. Among the performers on the roster for that evening were Tannis Slimmon & Lewis Melville, Allison Lupton and her fantastic band, and Rosemary Phelan & Jason LaPrade. During the pre-show rehearsal, Terry asked if Allison, Tannis, and Rosemary might be willing to perform a song together for the event. What a delightful idea. The next night, the trio performed Allison’s lovely a capella song “One More Day,” and it was pure magic. In that moment, though they didn’t know it yet, The Lucky Sisters were born...
