ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The MacMammals are California based acoustic artists presenting songs from Ireland, Scotland, England, and North America. “Keeping Up With The Heard” is an eclectic compilation of contemporary and traditional songs including warm ballads, a rousing sea shanty, and an original composition.

The "Macs" feature lead vocalist Carol Schryver, whose presentation is said to be reminiscent of Joni Mitchell and Judy Collins. She backs her sheer, genuine, and enchanting contralto vocals with guitar. Ron Bloom performs on acoustic guitar, mandolin, Irish bouzouki, and lends warm vocals. Paul Marshall adds creative acoustic bass support to the mix, and the result is a unique listening experience.
