ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
" Waves of Strange" is a collection of songs that have been anxiously waiting to go home with you. It was recorded in our home studio by Peter LeClair and Carmen Paradise with band mates Sam Rice on Drums and Jason Demmon on Keys and Trumpet, and mixed and mastered by local Detroiter, Peter Jay. "Waves of Strange" is just that: a tour through the weird corners of The Marvins' psyche. There are a couple acoustic driven folkies like "Tied" and "Bury That Man", hard hitting rock grooves like "Give It Back" and "Girls Go To Venus", and unapologetic pop hooks like "People Like You" and "Two Joints." This record, was inspired by many forces in the musical world around us, and will offer something sure to be enjoyed by everyone.
