Sassy, funny, with just a hint of something bittersweet, this song tells off an ex-boyfriend with humor and a little regret.

Album Notes
?Rent a move/Eat some takeout/Go to bed a little early/I'm doing all right without you
Paint the kitchen/Start that novel/Go off somewhere for the weekend/I'm doing all right without you
There's nobody stealing covers and I've got more room in dresser drawers/
Don't have to argue politics with that one friend of yours/
I've got lots of time on my to-do list, nothing getting in my way
I never knew there were so many hours in the day."

This song is about moving on from heartbreak...even if you're not quite ready! I wrote this after a failed relationship, imagining (torturing myself?) that he was moving on quite easily, while I struggled to put my life back together.

The lyrics look for the positive side of being free, but there's still a wistful tone underneath:

"Go to parties/Meet new people/Think about you almost never/I'm doing all right without you"
