ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Morrison Sisters are Megan, Kaity, Addie, and Wesley (dad). Here's a few brief album notes.

Boundless Love is one of our all time favorite Dianne Wilkinson songs. Dad has many fond memories singing this in our church choir growing up and taught it to our current church youth choir (which he directs) as soon as we started singing. We love the song so much we knew we'd have to include it on this album as well.

I Want to See God Move was written by our sweet friend, Rebecca Peck. This song convicts us each time we sing it and we're thankful for that. It's refreshing that God uses people like Ms. Peck to write not only songs that uplift, but songs that convict and challenge as well. We thank God for this!

The title cut of the album is a song called The Only Thing He Bought. It was written by one of our dad's best friends, Pastor Joe Anders. It's one of our most requested songs. This is remarkable considering Pastor Anders never intended to be a songwriter. His musical experience was extremely limited when God began to inspire him to write. We're so glad Pastor Anders answered the call! What a song!

God used the song He's Always Been Faithful to help our dad, Wesley, through a very difficult time. What a beautiful song it is. Thank God for His enduring faithfulness!

My Lord's Taking Good Care of Me is one of our most requested songs and was written by our good friend, Evangelist Stacy Pearcy. Brother Pearcy wrote this song about the goodness of God as he was going through a severe physical battle in which he almost lost his life. What perspective! What a testament to the goodness of God!

Across the Miles is a song about the wonderful truth that, no matter where we are, there's always someone praying for us. We thank God for the prayer warriors in our lives. Our family. Our pastors. Our friends. Heaven only knows where we'd be without their prayers! To God be the glory!

It's Still the Blood is one of our favorite classic Inspirations Quartet songs. The message is timeless and true!

Worry Ends Where Faith Begins was written by the precious and talented Sandy Blythe. God used this song to help Megan through a very trying time of doubts and questioning. Thank God we can cast our care upon Him!

The Wilburns were one of our dad's favorite groups when he was growing up and The Old Story was one of his favorite songs. We were so happy to include it on this record!

The last song on the album is the old hymn, Brethren, We Have Met to Worship. We decided to include this instrumental on the album for two reasons. First, the truth behind the song. All is vain unless the Spirit of the Holy One comes down! More than anything on earth we want God's touch on our music! Second, it's super fun to play this song country/bluegrass style! It features Kaity on her mandolin, dad on his acoustic guitar, Megan on bass guitar, and our cousin, Hutch Jordan, on electric guitar and drums.
