ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Mound City Slickers are veterans of several old-time string bands from the St. Louis, MO area; seven geezers playing old-time fiddle tunes and songs and having the time of their lives.

The Mound City Slickers unique mix of hard driving dance tunes, country harmonies, mid-west fiddle tunes, and rags have made them favorites of the old-time stringband scene in St. Louis, Missouri. Their high-energy playing and ear for a good tune make for good listening, good dancing and good times. Slickers are proud to bring you the release of their long awaited debut CD, Made GOOD for You (2013) on the Oceana Productions label.

Featuring: Lindell Blackford - mandolin
Bob Clark - banjo
