ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Alan Laws and René Tweehuysen both share a passion for composing and playing new original acoustic music. With their unusual combination of dobro, bottleneck slide guitar and harmonica they have created new sounds. Powerful unexpected rhythms with subtle harmonies
.
Rene Tweehuysen (NL) is a dobro, bottleneck slide guitar and weissenborn specialist. By fully using the haunting/ 'lonesome sound' of these instruments he is able to add his own personal and dynamic colour to the music.

Alan Laws (UK) started as a busker on the London underground in the seventies, and was active for many years in the music scene. He gained a reputation as a virtuoso harmonica player. His music has always been a mixture of blues, gospel and jazz, often performed in a duo of trio. In 1990 he moved to the Netherlands, and has been active there ever since .
