Album Notes
The Mustachios are a Boston-area family band who incorporate the best of both new and traditional music into an eclectic set of acoustic and electric song arrangements, featuring Anna Newton on vocals. Anna has terrific range and brings her fresh sound to R&B, country, soul, gospel, and pop numbers. Anna's dad, Tom Horsky, is one of the most accomplished country blues guitarists in the country, and Neil Horsky provides provides a great percussion backbone to the mix. The rhythm section is rounded out by veteran bassist Marty Ballou, with harmonica by Lynn Horsky. Their debut album features a sampling of different genres ranging from upbeat dance numbers to hauntingly beautiful ballads.
