Album Notes
With Hommage to Dinu Ghezzo, The Nabla Ensemble introduces an array of musical works inspired by the influential composer with painstaking detail and heartfelt ethos.

Dinu Ghezzo (1941-2011), professor emeritus of music at New York University, was a composer, conductor, lecturer, and performer known for his versatility, creative interpretations and expressive style. Hommage to Dinu Ghezzo introduces an eclectic mix of Baroque, Contemporary Classical, and Electronic Music, true to the diverse and experimental inclinations of the maestro himself.

Principal conductor Riccardo Santoboni founded the Nabla Ensemble in 2000 with the initiative to bring together musicians interested in the production and dissemination of contemporary music. The group specializes in the production of works featuring electronic media and video support, developing new ways of interaction between musicians and their audience.

A Hommmage to Dinu Ghezzo is sponsored and produced by International Arts Educators Forum, Inc. (IAEF) a group dedicated to increasing awareness for multidisciplinary arts projects through performance recordings and academic publishing. The IAEF enjoys additional production and artistic support from International Composers and Interactive Artists (ICIA), a leading organization in the promotion of new music by composers around the world.
