Album Notes
This suite contains the chorus to a beautiful piece of music in the public domain known as: Loch Lomond. (The original composer is unknown). A song that has been performed and arranged in many different ways, over time. It is also quite often performed by many choir ensembles, especially during the spring-time of the year. This suite incorporates that enchanting melody, (starting with a rock band format), comprised of three movements: I. Loch Lomond II. The Enchanted Lake III. A Walk In The Park. I composed the later two movements myself, to sort of like create a musical colage', with a soundtrack feel to it, based around this ancient song; To take one's imagination to a place of peace and forboding. Say, like a walk in a fantasy type dream world (during the spring-time of the year) if you will, known as: "Loch Lomond". Whch is, the name of an actual place in Scotland, sung about down thru the centuries; As many dreamers are wont to do...
