ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
JUST SOME STUFF offers an eclectic grouping of original songs ranging in genre from traditional folk to Americana blues, with a couple acoustic tunes, and others with more instrumentation. The variety offers a comfortable listening experience.

Alaska Oh Alaska is a ballad, written during a quest to write a song for every US state. The quest is ongoing.
I Want To Dream In Color Not This Black and Blue (previously released as a single) addresses the deep love-hate issue of the tormented soul in an abusive relationship.
Rights & Liberty speaks of the Civil War, often forgotten is the fact that the Southern states were fighting for rights and liberty this country offered and allowed. They were fighting for their cultural survival.
For The Memory of You is an acoustic live show rendering of the previously released full band version. It is a tribute song for those soldiers who perished in the Gulf War.
Stand Tall previously released is included for its merit.
Beggar In Dallas is a up-tempo fun song about not fitting in, and just being a street person.
Chanson De La Me’re previously released is a lullaby written for Louis DelPlasa who survived terrorists’ attack at the Bachalaan concert hall in Paris December, 2015 The French title translates, A Mother’s Song.
Crazy Water a lively song about the healing mineral water which helped to develop the Texas town of Mineral Wells. Supposedly a crazy woman drank the water, regained civility, and it was all uphill after that!
Baker Hotel Blues with the notoriety of the healing waters, Mr. Baker built a multi-storied hotel, which hosted many Hollywood types as well as other notable personages. There were some unfortunate happenings there the song addresses.
Can’t Get Into Heaven Blues is a futuristic tune about hard-working folks amassing earthly treasure having to camp outside heaven when they die.
If Bluebonnets Was A Song is a sweet waltz, which plays on the idea. There actually is a song titled Bluebonnets, on Theo’s Texas Roadside Blues album CD.
Shoulda Grown Tomatoes is a lively Americana blues tune addressing the songwriter’s delema.
Cross The Bridge is a slow kinda bluegrassy song addressing one’s moment of passing.
Harvey through this one in, a faux rap of sorts touching on the aftermath of tradgedy.
Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary are new tunes on the subject.
Kasihnya Yang Sejati (Bahasa Indonesia for True Love)
Minumlah Air Dari Sunggai Surga (Bahasa Indonesia for Drink Water From Heaven)
