In the last days, people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful and proud. "YOU DON'T GIVE A DAMN", a funky dance tune reminiscent of 70’s and 80's funk groups like Cameo, The Time, and James Brown.

Album Notes
Clea and Greg Lewis have been writing and producing music for several years. Growing up in Compton California, their neighbors, who grew up literally across street from them were Dr. Dre and Warren G. along with their brother Tyree (RIP), Eazy E also grew up two blocks away. The Original Guys are two original Boyz from the Hood. They later moved in with their dad to other parts of L.A. such as Gardena and the West Side where they became even more musically inclined when Greg picked up a bass guitar and taught himself how to play at 14 years old. Clea has written poetry since he was in elementary school and actually had a short poem placed on the walls of his elementary school. Their first release “Fast Money” was released what seems like a lifetime ago and is probably now a classic collectable 12 inch… if you can find it. “You Don’t Give A Damn” is the first single from their upcoming album “Triple O.G.’s ORIGINAL GUYS, ORIGINAL GENTLEMEN, ORIGINAL GANGSTAS” which is definitely not associated with thugs and gangsters. Although the brothers were at the beginning of the crip movement back in the days when Tookie, literally ran the streets, making them "REAL O.G.'s". Even still they only did what they had to do to survive because they themselves were bullied. Once. The O.G.'s have always had a soft spot for kids that were being bullied and are in the process of forming an organization to stop the violence completely.

O.G. is a universal theme because everyone is an O.G. i.e. original guys/original girls. Being O.G. is about being yourself and not being afraid to do so. You can hear this originality in the music of The O.G.’s, their bold lyrics and funky sound makes it hard to sit still with pounding rhythms and beautifully layered instrumentation. “You DON’T GIVE A DAMN” is a statement that almost everyone has echoed at one time or another. The O.G.’s have given us all a creative outlet for the frustration that comes when someone you love. or care for just “don’t give a damn”. The pounding cameo-esque kick drum, the funky bass, and old school hi hats, infused with sexy strings and gang vocals start off telling a story of what true love is and really should be like, but by the time the second and third verses roll around some people will have to run for cover. “You DON’T GIVE A DAMN” is an extremely funky and very danceable song that evokes thought in every listener, even causing some to think to themselves… “I know they’re not talking about me” (no offense intended) but almost everyone has had at least one moment in life where they were perhaps pushed to the point where they just did not give a damn. The O.G.’s, a band that takes you back but also moves you into the future simultaneously… how do they do it? By being… O.G.
