Album Notes
Trust Issues is about the things that hurt us and the things that give us hope. Our first album with piano, which itself was pretty scary. Returning to Opal Studio and the production of Kevin S. Hahn, Trust Issues is our most ambitious album yet.

Praise for previous albums:
"From the production, to the songwriting, to the harmonies, the band performs like a well oiled machine and you’ll find yourself falling in rhythm with ’em as you listen." - The Geek Hard Show

"A lot of bands that have the motif of nerd culture usually fall in to the trap of filling each song with hundreds of references and in jokes which quickly gets annoying and stale but in this case The PDX Broadsides do not." - Media Suspects

"The band specialize in witty lyrics about gruesome things, all sung in sweet, sweet harmony. " - Winter Downs, GeekGirlCon Blog

According to Pandora, if you like the PDX Broadsides because of their “comedic sensibility, folk roots, acoustic sonority, and paired vocal harmony”, you probably also like Jonathan Coulton, Ingrid Michaelson, Magnetic Zeroes, Karen Kilgariff, The Finches, Paul and Storm, and Barenaked Ladies. Who’s going to argue with that?
