ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
American duo The Pinder Brothers are one of those bands who excel in beautiful melodies and vocal harmonies... Dmitry M. Epstein (dmme.net)

"Every so often, a record comes along that remembers what pop music used to be, and can lift your spirits. By the end of the first four minutes of the record, you have a pretty good idea that “Melancholy Sea” is going to be a warm and inviting record. Chris C (Bloody Good Music)

"The Pinder Brothers are a new melding of sound that combines pure pop with alternative rock and bright singer/songwriter vocals." Ethan Skelton (The Equal Ground)

Pinder Brothers: Melancholy Sea
The Pinder Brothers are among one of the most fabulous bands I ever heard in our times. The overall sound quality, is perfect in every way. Their songs have much of the flavour I liked growing up in the 1960's to 1970's yet expands beyond a much wider audience as well as they're highly unique and original with lyrics having good meaning which is most needed these days.Above all, their music reaches at the inner core. Although, they are the sons of the Moody Blue's founder Mike Pinder, their music bridges between the earlier British invaders style to the popular USA rockers whom invaded the UK. More and more younger listeners love their music as well as those whom grew up in the 1960's to '70's. As a composer, I've became rather critical over the years yet after I first heard their CD Melancholy Sea, it totally moved me. When one hears songs one can not seem to get out of one's head, one knows the songs are great and their songs have done just that for me.
