ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Playboys produced a rockin' original recording in Memphis named "Baby Doll" under the name the Magnificent Seven in 1962. This CD gathers their 45 rpm record along with a live recording made in 1963 with the group pounding out a blistering set of R&B, Rockabilly, and popular tunes at a gig in Monticello, Arkansas. Hear this raw and unfiltered performance for the first time here! CD includes an 8 page book detailing the band's story. This CD was produced by Psych of the South records, known for the Lost Souls compilation series featuring 60s garage rock from Arkansas.
