ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
For the past 25 years the Portland Guitar Society has provided encouragement to guitarists of all genres and ages. We are a welcoming place to hear a variety of music and instruments: “All Things Guitar for Everyone" is our mission statement.

We decided to produce a compilation set of two CD's and fit as many musicians on it as we could, representing a variety of genres, styles and instruments. It was a completely volunteer effort with the musicians graciously donating the use of their music for the project. We have thirty tracks of wonderful music that will allow us to promote our local Artists and the Portland Guitar Society far outside the city of Portland.

With more than 30 of Portland's fine guitarists and composers, including two Grammy winners, these two disks reflect the diversity and talent of many local musicians who have graced our stage. Give your ears a treat!
