ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My music arises out of real-life circumstances. It is authentic and engaging.
I Can Fly came to me early on in life in response to feeling abandoned.
Sunflower was a poem written for me by my poet and musician friend Danny Johnson from Canada.
They Always Say originated from a relationship with an older man when I was in high school, and repeated itself many times through the years.
All the Clowns addresses my vulnerability in believing what I am told in relationships even when all the evidence contradicts those words.
Wishing you release was written for my friend on death row, Jarvis Jay Masters.
I Am the One has meaning on at least two distinct levels.
Forever was written in response to then 4-year-old Jackson who asked, "We're all going to die, aren't we?"
Ashes is about love and life and continuing on.
Breathe arouse from trying to figure out why I was physically falling and how I could stay on my feet.
Get a New Program. Sometimes I have had to replace a deep rut in my mind which no longer matched up with the reality of a situation
He's Gone. Gary, my husband and best friend of 39 years died October 21, 2014.
Quick Light a Candle was written and submitted for a Spiritual Direction and the Cosmos Conference. They did not accept my offering.
