ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Press Gang, formed in late 2006, is a mixture of Punk, classic Heavy Metal, Riff driven Hard Rock, salt air, dirt, and kitchen parties all in one. Half the band hails from the East Coast and the other half the West. East meets West in a hodge podge of The Heavy. This mix of coasts and influences has bred something sweet and unique, otherwise known as “The Heavy”.

Medusa 5 is the fifth release from the band, highlighting a more focused attack with new band member Lindsay Arnold on bass. The dream lineup had no trouble putting together Medusa 5, melding Lindsay's distinct bass style with the already existing treatment of the heavy. Sonically, this album kicks. Musically, the best thing the band has done in their 10 years to date.

Engineered by Chad Laing and Derek Lindzon
Mixed and Mastered by Ranjit Ranawaya
Recorded in The Press Box, Calgary, Alberta, Canada
