Album Notes
All songs written and produced by Tim Hort

Genre: Analog Pop/Rock
Performed by Chicago-based band, The Radio Hour

“A solid collection of AAA pop-rock gems.” – Centerstage Chicago

“[A] celebration of solid pop songwriting. Something we should all toast, because God knows there’s not enough of it these days.” –

"Terrifically Chilling." - Illinois Entertainer

“[S]uperior production…a quick lesson in simple-but-effective songwriting” - CMJ Music Magazine

“[C]ould really find its way to the top of the pops. Hort is a fine songwriter, and the band grabs the material and runs with it.” - Illinois Entertainer

The album was written and produced by Tim Hort. Mixed by Blaise Barton and Brain Leach. Mastered by Blaise Barton. Additional recording for tracks 6 and 10 by Joe Griffin. The track, "Rollercoaster" was, in fact, recorded in Joe's kitchen apartment. This is a full-studio creation, getting back to the parameters of the 3-4 minute song by design, no digital sampling, strong hooks, no apologies, veteran players, creatively expansive studio sessions. "RADIO POWER" covers the gambit from darker tracks like "World in a Day," and "Radio Power 4:00AM," to nearly inspiration with the stellar driving drum from Sean Burke and Hort's hopeful lyrics on "No Dissociation." Round out the album with a killer playful hook on "Friday Night, " or "Heartbreaks and Slamming Doors," and two-remakes of Hort's own drafted recordings "RollerCoaster" and "Tragic Stories," and the listener can ride the album from beginning to end.

Additional guitars with Brian Leach, Jeffrey Kmeiciak and Ed Wisman; Additional B3 with Brian Leach and AndySwindler; Additional background vocals with Jordan Macarus and Nathan Britsch.
