ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hailing from San Luis Obispo, CA, The Ragged Jubilee are a distinctive seven member Rock and Blues band. Combining the sound and energy of countless acts across the last century (from the early days of the Delta Blues to the heyday of Classic Rock) they use their influences to write music that sounds fresh and vital. Releasing a record in Spring of 2011, American Moan, the band has seen success in their multiple West Coast tours and in the press. Marcos De Lahueria of Spain’s “Popular 1 Magazine,” praises, “...it is to my taste the best debut of the year, and even the last five years.” Using their musicianship and passion, the band weaves between bombastic intensity and emotive songwriting prowess. And now that their highly anticipated sophomore album “In The Valley” dropped in April of 2012, the next few years look to be earthshaking for the seven California natives.
