The Rivertown combines heart, creativity, and veteran musicianship to produce a beautiful, rich, unique sound. Their well-chosen songs are mostly in the genre of country rock, Americana, and roots music done with beautiful, well-crafted 3-part harmonies. In addition to the fascinating blend of their voices, their chemistry is magical which makes their music captivating and always leave listeners wanting more!

The members, Gary Vogensen (lead guitar, harmonica, vocals) and Russ Gauthier (guitar,mandolin, fiddle, vocals) toured with New Riders of the Purple Sage for more than a decade and have played with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Mike Bloomfield, Etta James, Delbert McClinton and many more. Julie Bernard (vocals, rhythm guitar, percussion), their band leader, has played for over 10 and brings her talent, warmth and enthusiasm to the trio.
