ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Runaway Grooms is a five-piece American rock band that incorporates psychedelic and jam rock elements. The band is based in Vail, Colorado and can often be found playing in the local mountain bars and music venues up and down Rt. 70. The group started creating a unique and wholesome folk sound with just acoustic string instruments and hand percussion but because of their diverse tastes in music and aptitude for composing new and engaging sounds, the group quickly developed an expansive style of rock that continues to evolve today. The Groom's music has roots in blues and folk but utilizes the musical stylings of bands such as The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, and Pink Floyd. All members contribute to writing The Groom's music and as a result the music takes on beautiful blend of different personalities and styles.

The band members: Adam Tobin on Vocals and Guitar; Zachary Cialek on Lap Steele Guitar, Guitar, and Vocals; Justin Bissett on Hand Percussion and Drums; Cody Scott on Keyboard and Organ; Zachary Gilliam on Bass and Vocals.
