Album Notes
Two of the best kept secrets on the Portland music scene come together as The SEAN+FRED Show. Celebrating their first release, this self titled CD is a tasty blend of old and new, finished off with a modern twist.

Best know for his chops as a session and group vocalist, Sean Holmes has worked with most of the Portland's best known Soul, R&B, and Jazz artist. A seasoned and versatile performer, Sean's voice is like butter on a muffin. Soft and warm with nuance and feeling.

If you're a Blazer fan and have watched a local broadcast of the Portland Trailblazers, you've heard the music of Fred Stickley.
Mainly a composer who sings and plays keyboards, Fred's music has been use for television in many parts of the world, and has been know to write a mean 12/8 ballad.

Together they sing, laugh, and play a mix of Jazz and R&B, along with a large dose of original music of the same ilk.

The band is four musicians who are the "who's who" of the Portland music scene who sound like no other.

If you like big vocals with big horns and a big beat, with jazzy, funky originals, you are gonna love The SEAN+FRED Show.

Dear Christo's Friends,
ike their name simply implies The SEAN AND FRED SHOW is a show and a really great one at that! Highly entertaining, these skilled musicians have put together a show featuring famed jazz, pop and R&B tunes from eras past and present, and will have you humming, dancing, reminiscing and romancing! You will love the soulful sound of vocalist Sean Holmes amplified by the great vocal harmonies and piano playing of Fred Stickley and their rhythm section is (sorry just don't know how else to say this) kick ass! Lisa Learn (owner)

Sean & Fred,
Thanks so much for the incredible music this last weekend. It was the biggest night of the year for the restaurant and the vibe from the band was a big part of our success. In my opinion, the Fred & Sean Sextet was probably the best sounding group that has performed at (five-0-three) all year. You guys really sounded tight. I had so many guests tell me how great the band was. I need to have you guys back as soon as I can.
Cheers, John McEwan (Owner)
