London born, New York based, The Silver is heavily influenced by the sound of David Bowie, Elvis Costello, The Cure, The Clash, The Jam, The Police and early U2.
Previously recording in San Francisco as silversphere (with the haunting 2006 release 'Songs of Longing & Loss',) a move to the East Coast in 2008 shifted to a harder edged sound - with songs every bit as poignant and glittering as before - but with more power and bite.
