ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Founding members Manny Fawcett (Rhythm Guitar/vocals) and Matthew Rigsby (Lead/vocals) fused together their two vastly different guitar and writing styles to create a unique sound that permeated throughout Brevard County’s music scene. Adding Levi Tate on percussion and finally Gabe Ottomanelli on bass, they have been consistently touring throughout Central and Southern Florida. They have teamed up with the producers at Rocky Water Studios to record their first four song EP to be released within the next couple months. Manny Fawcett is a Satellite Beach High School Academy of Fine Arts graduate, where he was always involved in the arts and music. His love for the Indie and Alternative genre, paved way for the writing style that you hear now in The Spring’s writings. Beautiful melody lines, mixed with colorful leads, that push through your speakers and make it hard not to sing along. Before The Spring, Manny performed with a group called The Civil Ties. Matthew Rigsby grew up listening to classic rock and playing in cover bands throughout his adolescence. Coupling a grittier tone with the rest of the group’s melodic phrasing was a perfect match for a unique sound.
Formerly performing in The Civil Ties, Levi Tate reunited with Manny after a short stint in California. After taking two years off and away from music, he moved back and began touring and recording with the band. Gabriel Ottomanelli, also a Fine Arts Graduate, has had a love for music his entire life. With his dedication to the craft, his thumping bass lines fill out every tune.
