The Star-Scape Singers under the direction of Kenneth G. Mills presented "The Sound of a Star" at New York's Carnegie Hall on February 7, 1982. The eleven selections were performed with one intermission by the ensemble:

Under the direction of Kenneth G. Mills, The Star-Scape Singers performed this program at Carnegie Hall, New York City, on February 7, 1982. It was recorded live to digital two-track by Tony May. The mastering, by Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound, was done from the original digital tape with no equalization, compression, or any other alteration of sound. Produced by Kenneth G. Mills for Sun-Scape Records. Album photos by Ian Tudhope, design by Bev Tudhope.
