ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
It's a rarity when an album recorded in a studio captures anything resembling the energy of a live performance. But this one comes very close. The joy felt by these three musicians pours out of this recording and makes for a powerful listening experience. The tracks include styles of music ranging from straight-ahead jazz and brazilian rhythms to rock, blues and R&B. The album is primarily an instrumental exploration, but on three of the tracks, Steve Himes adds vocals -- the only such tracks he's ever released.

Steve Himes ( guitar and vocals), Chris Allen (electric and acoustic bass) and Chris Hudson (drums) recorded "Interchange" in 1998, and still perform together to this day.

Enjoy!
