ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Swiss Youth Jazz Orchestra, celebrating its 20th anniversary, plays a program of Jazz Standards and a 3-piece Suite written by Fritz K Renold. The Jazzaar Summit production presents young talents working closely with professionals at Jazzaar Festival in the “Bandstand Learning with Role Models” program. By so doing the young musicians were handed down a legacy and a musical heritage, raising their own levels of musicality and proficiency in the process. The tunes were arranged and orchestrated for the Swiss Youth Jazz Orchestra by prolific writers such as Christian Jacob, Fritz K Renold, Corey Allen and Bob Freedman.
