ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Traffic Lights are an Icelandic trance trio whos music has many ethereal, atmospheric and dronology elements. Their debut album "Huldufolk" is the soundtrack album to the novel of the same name by Rob Watts.

The Traffic Lights* are:

Gunnar Bjarnason (Drums)
Þrúður Egilsdóttir (Bass)
Óli Gylfason (Keyboards)

Their name was inpired by the band's encounter with the Huldufolk, which led them to blood, fire and the northern lights. Blood (Red), Fire (Yellow) and The Northern Lights (Green) shared the same configuration with traffic lights and thus the trio adopted the name The Traffic Lights.
