ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Rockabilly, Rock and Roll, Hot Rods, Drive-Ins, Surf Music, Early Elvis and Sun Records! It’s that classic sound and look of the 1950’s and 60’s that influences the Texas based trio “The Vinyl Stripes!”

With their skinny ties, Gretsch guitars, slappin standup bass and retro rockin drums, The Vinyl Stripe's sound is influenced by those great classic artists from Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Cash,Dick Dale, The Beatles and more. These original guitar driven songs of the Vinyl Stripes are reminiscent of the rock and roll, rockabilly, surf era but with some classic rock influences from those 70's guitar greats you may also hear.. The is even a nod to Django Reinhardt on Holiday in Toontown!
