ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is the Wages of Sin’s third album of traditional music for non-traditionalists. They mix up a potent brew of Celtic, country, rockabilly, and bluegrass, finish it with a twist of Tom Waits-style weirdness, and chase the whole thing with a bracing shot of punk rock.

In their ten years together, the Wages have played countless shows in their hometown of Seattle, including a string of legendary St. Patrick's Day gigs. They've traveled up and down the coast, from Vancouver, BC to Eugene, OR, and shared the stage with such luminaries as Devotchka, Slim Cessna's Auto Club, Southern Culture on the Skids, and Nathan Maxwell of Flogging Molly.

Alternately rowdy and mournful, they're sure to get your feet tapping, your heart palpitating, and your liver crying for mercy. Repent ye sinners and be saved!
