A New Lie Will Guide You Home

by The Weak Knees

Artsy, solid space rock. On their debut album, the Weak Knees explore tales of vengeful ghost cars, random dream encounters, everyday oddballs lurking on street corners, and social implosions at lame dance parties. Always rhythmic and heartfelt.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
On their debut album, neo-New Waveish rockers the Weak Knees explore tales of vengeful ghost cars, random dream encounters, and everyday oddballs lurking on street corners. Described by some as "like Devo meets Lou Reed in a dark alley," the Portland, Oregon four piece dishes up songs that are part artsy minimalism, Motown-inspired bass, clean explosive guitar and groove-based songwriting.

Throw in songs about social implosions at lame dance parties and a Talking Heads-ish vibe, and the album is consistently solid and heartfelt.
