ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Proudly hailing from Toledo, Ohio, The Zimmerman Twins play rough-and-tumble, "loose, but tight" rock and roll. The mid-western 5 piece keeps a keen eye songcraft and hooks, while delivering them with a healthy punch. Jub (aka Kevin Murnen) steers this ungodly ship with his guitar and a tattered suitcase full of songs, bolstered by bandmates: Matt Truman (guitar, vox), Ken Haas (steel guitar, vox), Kevin Tufts (drums), and TV's Seth Anderson (bass). Tunes so full of swampy, whiskey, rock, cigarette, country, trash, desperation, and a sinner's hope for redemption, that the CD smells like a bar.

A must have!
I love this album, fun, heavy, clever. Not a bad song on the disc. I listen to it from start to finish. Favorite songs, warm glow, smile for the camera, from ohio. There should be a place on your indie playlist for this band! The arrangements are smart, the guitar interplay is tasty, and the songwriting is genuine. One hook after another. I can listen over and over again. Highly recommended.
