ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A project out of New York City, fronted by Andrew Pearson (ex Max's kansas City resident, Henry Gross Band) writer, singer and musician with a new take on the blues idiom. Using guitar synthesis as the prime instrument, the sound is big and ethereal, while maintaining an interesting rhythmic structure. His English style definitely comes to the front in his vocals.
Ian McDonald (King Crimson, Foreigner) adds a lyrical quality to the melodies with flutes and alto sax. Also plays percussion on a number of tracks.
Bill Foster (Larry Coryell, Billy Cobham) drives the grooves with his six string bass and forms delicate arpeggiated interplays with the flute parts on the ballads.
Nick DiFrsco (Dave Sanborn, Hiram Bullock) lays down the solid, infectious beats punctuating them with rapid fire stickwork.

There's something I don't get
This music is interesting, yes. But I am confused about what they are trying to do. It's like, they are doing this rock thing and then it's these Bob Dylan lyrics going in.
