Album Notes
"All We Got" is Thomas Anderson's look at a world full of difficult questions; questions about the nature of life and death, questions about sanity, about direction, justice, ignorance, and acceptance. In this album Thomas explores a darker side of himself, and uses a combination of live instruments, samples, and keyboards, meticulously arranged to create a breathtaking backdrop for his thought provoking lyrics.
The first four songs on this record run together like a Pink Floyd Album with no breaks in between, to create a continuous musical experience.
Some songs depict scenes that relate abstractly to politics, for instance "Off Your Rocker" is about a captain who has guided his ship into the rocks and has lost control of his crew.
Meanwhile "Limosine" reflects the blissful ignorance of an individual who is sheltered from the harshness of the world outside of her plush interior.
The record voices concern for the environment in "Everything Changes". And it shows kindness in the face of the sadness of lost love in "fly".
"All We Got" is a song about the randomness of our existence, and a desire to make the very most of it.
Thomas Anderson definitely made the most of this one. It is an artfully written, performed, produced, and engineered CD that challenges the listener to look deeper.

A truly beautiful collection of songs and stories!!
I noticed that his 1st release "Is this Love" had lots of positive reviews from CDbaby fans, so I decided to listen to it myself. I then noticed this release... "All we got" and was blown away by what I heard from both CDs. I snapped them up straight away and couldn't wait to get my hands on them. The 1st four tracks are segued together and are a joy to listen to. "Higher than you want" is quite simply the best track I have heard in an long time. The lyrics are truly deep and moving, the song is a true masterpiece. There is not a bad track on both his CD releases and I can't wait to hear his next offering as Thomas is an amazing talent!
