Album Notes
Beer & Fun & Rock ‘n’ Roll, 10 original rockers, is destined to be the album of the summer. It’s Rockpile with a Ramones edge.

Famed Ramones producer and engineer Ed Stasium sums the music up best: “This shit rawks!”

John Borack of GOLDMINE Magazine describes the songs as “…Blasts of melodic sunshine seamlessly melding The Ramones, The Beach Boys, and bubblegum. Play ‘em Loud!”

Bill Kelly of Little Steven’s Underground Garage and WFMU Radio says, “Tommy and The Rockets play r-r-r-eal rock ‘n’ roll.”

Lord Rutledge of FasterAndLouder blog calls the music “Good time power poppin’ rock ‘n’ roll. Supremely infectious melodies, harmonies to die for.”

The first verse and chorus of Beer & Fun & Rock ‘n’ Roll, the title track give you the attitude and tone of the record:

I used to play guitar in a rock ‘n’ roll band,
And the girls wouldn't leave me alone,
The cretin hop, the blitzkrieg bop,
Now and then one of my own,
Dancin', prancin', later on romancin',
On the amp in the back of my van,
Fallin' in love for an hour or two,
Next night do it again,
Part of me really misses those nights,
Didn't have a care in the world,
Beer and fun and rock 'n' roll,
Till along came a special girl,

Lead by Denmark’s multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Thomas Stubgaard, the album features 10 original songs written by Stubgaard and Michael Chaney, the main songwriter for The New Trocaderos. The Connection/The New Trocaderos’ Brad Marino is on drums and Kris “Fingers” Rodgers (Kris Rodgers and The Dirty Gems, The Connection, The New Trocaderos) is on piano and organ. The album was mixed by Geoff Palmer (The Connection, The Guts, The New Trocaderos) at Friar Park East, Rochester, NH.

Only for fans of pure rock ‘n’ roll.
