Album Notes
Chuck Thurau is a bass playing, singer-songwriter who splits his creative energies between writing and recording his own material and performing with the internationally known, 3rd wave ska band Spider Nick and the Maddogs (

Chuck's writing style reflects his many influences. From the Soul, R&B and Pop played on AM radio, to the Classic and Hard Rock of his teenage days, to the modern beats of Hip Hop and of course the Punk and Ska he's come to love as the bass player of the "Maddogs"
Chuck effectively blends all these styles and more on his first solo effort, "Embracing Chaos" (available April 2005 on CD Baby).
The ten song project is Chuck's third as a producer and engineer, He produced and engineered the Maddogs' third CD "Bone Dog" and a 10 song demo for a local Long Island band called "Always The Crash".
Chuck will continue performing with the "Maddogs" as he persues his songwriting and producing aspirations....
