Tidal Treasures

by Tidswell

An ethereal ride for those who love the 70's psychedelic experimentalism. Vibraphone, pedal steel and midi-guitar are fused with acoustic instruments, piano and modern production techniques. The album took very long to create and is packed full of detail.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Tidswell self-produced and played all the instruments on this "Magnum Opus". It took a few years to create and involved a lot of modern DAW techniques and automation using Logic 9. It has influences from the psychedelic era and elements of 70's prog-rock. Tidswell lives in BC Canada, where he has played in numerous bands for three decades. The mastering was the only part of the album's creation that was left to outside involvement. The mastering was done by Bob Katz, renowned Mastering innovator, at his studio in Florida. If you like spacey, cosmic music that you could fall asleep to or take a floatation tank ride with- this is for you.
