Album Notes
Music is where the magic is. It can call on things unseen and bring them to light. When properly invoked, new spins on old tales and old spins on new tales come to life in word, groove, melody and atmosphere.

Born in Starkville Mississippi, TILLI left the nest as a teenager and began traveling the world gathering experiences as diverse as painting Tibetan temples, modeling in New York and Europe, immersing herself in the culture and music in India and gathering tools for her artistic life as part of a mystical school. All the while absorbing the sounds of the street, the concert hall, the dive bars and the blues clubs.

The Traveler ep introduces TILLI with three rockin' tunes (with the help of Producer/Multi-Instrumentalist Alain Johannes (Queens Of The Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Eleven) and rock's favorite son Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters). Johannes played the instruments and produced "Drive All Night" and "Spin Spin" and Grohl played the instruments and produced "26th Floor".

Stylistically modern rock in the vein of Bowie or St. Vincent with a Gothic Troubadour pounce *and some Ramones for good mreasure.

Atmosphere groove and melody come together to make a gritty and otherworldly punk driving sound Explosive music from the land of California sun !Pushing driving rock n roll car culture beats . Infectious , filmic stomp and rock

From the swampy insomnia of “Drive All Night” to the relentless stomping of "Spin Spin", and finally crashing at full speed into " 26th Floor" TILLI careens, speeding down the devil’s highway in this infectious, gritty debut.

"It’s Gooood!"
-Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters, Nirvana)

"TILLI lives comfortably in her musical world... at once creating and being created by it, she joyously navigates the shadowy seas and dizzying cliffs, the pagan dance and the blue gothic ways of her southern spirit."
-Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stoneage, Them Crooked Vultures, Eleven)
