ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Tim Snider and Caio Andreatta first met in São Paulo, Brazil where they sparked a friendship and decided to embark on a new project together. Their debut album, In Brazil, features a meeting of musical minds from these two diverse musicians coming from musical upbringings almost 7,000 miles apart. In Brazil will be officially released in São Paulo in 2015.

Tim Snider hails from Reno, Nevada with striking red hair, unbridled energy, and a captivatingly deep connection to his first love, the violin. Tim started playing the violin when he was just three years old and has since explored a labyrinth of musical instruments and styles. He has toured through Cuba, Central and South America, and Europe as well as supported artists such as Michael Franti, Robert Randolph, and Steel Pulse. Tim has dedicated his life to traveling through countries around the world in order to gather diverse musical skills and in the search of meeting other passionate musician’s such as Andreatta.

São Paulo based musician Caio Andreatta was brought up by a very musical family. His father being an accomplished drummer gave Caio a custom made drum kit on his first birthday. From then on, he was unstoppable. Andreatta like Snider has dedicated his life to music. When he was only 13 years old he put together his first band. His current group Capela, a sensation in Brazil, is known for their poetic lyrics and well-arranged songs. Andreatta and his band perform all over Brazil and were invited to play at the Brazilian Day in San Diego, CA, an over 60 thousand person event.

Snider and Andreatta complement each other with their unique styles and shocking amount of musical talent and skill. Snider’s world sojourns and musical influences together with Andreatta’s Brazilian flair will transport you from your chair into a mesmerizing musical place you’ve never experienced before.
