ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
At once retro and cutting edge, The Times combine hit songwriting with artistic integrity. A young band with energy that pours off of the stage, they are the whole package. They are a breath of fresh air in this smoky age.

With hearts firmly tacked on their sleeves, The Times are ushering in a musical revolution. The name of that revolution?

Honesty.

I fell in love with the cd the moment I heard it
I heard about The Times from the Zippo Hot Tour band
choosing. I chose this band and even though they didn't win, I fell in love with the cd the moment I heard it and I'm sure they need more support! This cd was a must buy and its ashame they are "hidden" from the public! Good Luck The Times on your career!

They can be cotton candy pink and fluffy minus the sugar.
Washing their hands of all pretense, the guys of The Times get ready to play the maddest game of strip poker ever, baring it all only to simultaneously pair that with a strange, honest dignity on their release Begin. Slinging lyrical passion like aces across the table to rendezvous in the middle with thickly piled Wilco-style epic melodies, The Times are plenty rich in unorthodox arrangements and even more well-off in candor. Furthermore, they manage to avoid all dry past-relationship droning to seemingly focus on the omnipresent coming-of-age realizations ... because really, do we ever stop coming of age? -- Genevieve Will, Indie-Music.com
