Album Notes
Songs From Clarowood was named one of the 25 Essential Echoes CD's for 2001 by the listeners and staff of ECHOES.

Tim Farrell has been called "One of the new trailblazers - the bold ones who will take guitar into the next century".

He is one of the select group of musicians who exemplify all that is excellent in their field and who have the unique ability to entertain their audience and inspire future generations of players.

Tim understands well the intricate mechanics of music, yet his playing and original compositions display an elegant simplicity that celebrates the purity of the acoustic guitar.

Tim's album "SkyDancer" has received airplay, accolades and sales around the globe. Billboard said " 'SkyDancer' resonates with soaring, memorable melody lines" and called Tim "a guitarist to be heard".

Tim's first solo album "Very" is such a beautiful example of intricate fingerstyle guitar playing that Tim was selected to be the first artist on "Guitar Fingerstyle - A NARADA Collection", a collection of the finest fingerstyle guitarists working today.

Tim is also a featured artist on "The Best of Independent American Music", "EnviroAid", "2000 Fingerpicking", "Echoes Living Room Concerts Vol. 7", "Coffee House Blend". A very active composer, Tim has written many works for the guitar as a solo instrument and with other instruments.

He has provided the music for Multimedia Presentations, TV and radio shows , Soundtracks, and Interactive Theater productions.

Tim has received extensive airplay on radio stations internationally, as well as on nationally-syndicated programs such as Echoes, Acoustic Digest, and The World Cafe, Rock'n'Roots in the USA and Alphabeat in Europe.

Tim is on the roster of Pennsylvania Performing Arts on Tour, a wonderful organization that provides grant money to help non-profit organizations fund concert and residency programs by it's roster of performing artists.

Tim is also a member of the faculty of the Doylestown School of Music and the Arts in Doylestown, PA.

He teaches private lessons, does workshops, and visits schools as part of his desire to further develop the knowledge, enjoyment, and appreciation of music.

Love this music. Very serene, and engaging. Sounds perfect for every mood.
I've been looking for this CD for about two years, when I first heard about it on public radio. None of the stores had it. Then I got hip to ordering on-line (finally). I've really enjoyed having this CD in my possession. Seems to fit just about every mood I'm in, making me feel like all is well in the world. Great for when you're stuck in traffic, or at the end of the day, or when you're taking a bubble bath. You get the picture, I hope.

Words can not express...
