Album Notes
"Small Batch Bourbon" is Tim Gill & the Tim Gill All-Stars' sophmore album effort; 5 years in the making, it is a showcase of the staple tunes that have become show-stopping centerpieces of their live club act.

Crooner, Multi-Instrumentalist and Composer Tim Gill is backed up by his 9-piece ensemble, who offer tasty grooves, sizzling solos, and more than a bit of raucous hi-jinks. Joining Tim on three tracks is veteran singer Adryon DeLeon, whose strong, soulful vocals provide a unique flavor to the program.

The infectious boogie-woogie banter of the title track leads the listener through a rapid-fire tale of a night of legendary imbibing in Tim's favorite spirit; the group also covers such American Songbook classics as "A Foggy Day," "You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby," and "L-O-V-E." A dash of soul and grit weave their way in with swinging, Rat-Pack-esque takes on "Unchain My Heart," "Sunny," and "Hey, Good Lookin'," amongst others.

Throughout, the band gets cheeky, slinging shouts and comedic bits with gusto; you are given the impression that you are indeed inhabiting a small club, sitting two rows back from the bandstand, cocktail in hand, listening to this group of seasoned performers riff and vibe off of each other. The resulting roller-coaster is exhilarating, dynamic, charming, and virtuosic; a thrilling cocktail of vintage Vegas-esque kitsch and engaging 21st-century energy.
