ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Another Orion" came about after spending time in Nashville with some heavy-hitter songwriters who helped me hone my craft and tailor my narratives to make this the best collection of my songs. Kevin Bowe, who has written and produced songs for Jonny Lange, Etta James and Joe Cocker, produced the record and brought an energetic and fresh vision to how the songs materialized in the studio. The project really came to life when my long-time collaborator, Todd Lester, endorsed the new post-Nashville tunes and in the Winter of 2014-15, we began playing the songs in our shows to work out kinks and refine the arrangements.

"Another Orion" is an expression of songwriting diversity that runs through all my records. With influences from roots and blues to country and pure folk melodies, the record is anything but homogenous. That said, the unifying thread is my vision of a world that is full of goodness. These are not depressing songs. I hope you enjoy them.
