ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
What might you think a an acoustic guitar filled with saltwater might sound like? I wanted to find out so I tossed one into the Pacific Ocean and in the process, got my shins smashed when it came boiling back towards me in the surf. In a nutshell, this album features a fantastic line-up of Lost Poets--Jim Lindquist, Jon Mack, Anna Schaad, John Neighbor, and Caryn Simmons. It's definitely based around the acoustic 12 string guitar and vocals, but is very "electric" in nature. The songs Are You Real and My House is Burning Down were Lost Poet mainstays and got significant air play when first released. the vocals are lush and some of the basic tracks were recorded without the band members even knowing which makes for some incredibly epic and magical moments.
