The 911 song was inspired by the horrific September 11th attacks, and the loss of civil liberties coupled with the brazen war profiteering that came in the following months and years. As legendary Marine Major General Smedley Darlington Butler once said: "War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious.." The 911 Song echoes his timeless sentiments.
