ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Anyone looking for a standout artist needs to look no further than TimPermanent. Rather than defy convention for the sake of controversy, TimPermanent has a quirky and idiosyncratic style that is unforced and honest. Progressing in music from the French horn and clarinet to excelling as a vocalist and self-taught guitarist, TimPermanent explored music on his own before attending a conservatory for performing arts in NYC. During the beginning of his career, TimPermanent was half of the gay music act Testosterone Kills, who were signed to Fortified Records. As a solo artist, TimPermanent’s music is characterized by an electronic avant-pop style and an axiomatic lyrical sense. His debut album Record, was released in an unconventional format—a USB Jump Drive—and contained 2 music videos and 14 songs, all written, produced, performed and recorded by TimPermanent himself. With a dash of whimsy and quirk, TimPermanent is unafraid to experiment with his music and embrace his individuality, making his songs tricky to classify. The music is highly engaging and lyrically guides the listener to be optimistic and hopeful in the quest to follow their dreams. In addition to opening for Fantasia, Deborah Cox and Adam Lambert at LA Pride 2009, TimPermanent has also played the infamous Sunset Strip’s Viper Room, Roxy and Key Club. He is currently gearing up to release his 2010 EP, Marker, as well as looking ahead towards a future promoting and touring. TimPermanent is eager to continue his career making uplifting, fun music and inspiring the world to sing and dance. Be sure to check out TimPermanent: www.TimPermanent.com
