ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This guitar/bass/drum triad opens an active sketchbook representing designs, musings and observations for 2002-2004. John Mosemann, drum set; Paul Gehman, upright acoustic bass and Tim Schumacher, hollow body electric guitar offer their second CD. These like-minded musicians have each enjoyed experience with prominent jazz artists in Philly and New York and have banded as a working ensemble for three years playfully rapt with the jazz tradition. Shared here is a collection of their pieces which trundle with form, line, shape, color and beam with the shared moment of each performance.

"...we shall not cease exploration,
and the end of all our exploring will be
to arrive where we started
and know the place for the first time."

-T.S. Eliott, "Little Gidding"
Four Quartets
